Patience Timi

Patience is a Senior Neurobiology & Physiology major with a minor in Spanish. She is setting her sights on graduating and entering into medical school. This year she is a Student Advisor in the PreHealth Office on campus. In addition to her scientific research on campus, she also volunteers at her local clinic and church. She still makes time to binge her favorite Netflix shows, workout, and spend time with her friends and family.


Lidia Castillo

Lidia is a senior Biochemistry major aspiring to attend medical school after graduating from UMD. In addition to being Co-President of ALD & PES, she is also a member of the University Honors Program, Terp Thon, and Delta Epsilon Mu Coed Professional Pre-Health Fraternity. During her free time, she enjoys playing sports, hiking, listening to music, and volunteering at Children’s National.

Morgan Grizzle

Morgan is a junior Criminology & Criminal Justice Systems and Psychology dual degree who plans to attend law school upon graduation from UMD. This year, she has the role of Vice President of Membership and is excited to get people involved in ALD & PES. Morgan is also a member of the University Honors Student Advisory Board, the Black Student Union, and several other clubs and honor societies. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, binge watching her favorite shows on Netflix, and watching way too many makeup videos.

Sharon Wei

Sharon is a senior Physiology and Neurobiology major with a minor in Philosophy. This is her first year as VP of Volunteerism, having served on the committee for the past two years. She is part of the Integrated Life Sciences Honors College and hopes to attend medical school after graduation. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, listening to music, and watching movies.

Hannah Holzrichter

Hannah is a Public Health Science major with a minor in Spanish. She hopes to attend Physician Assistant school following graduation. Currently, she is the Vice President of Academic Affairs but was previously a member of the events committee. She is also involved in the FIRE program and is on the executive board for her sorority. In her free time she enjoys reading, working out and spending time with her friends and family.

Rebecca Kaminsky

Rebecca is a junior Public Health Science major who aspires to get a Masters in Public Health and attend medical school. This year is her second time serving as ALD&PES’s Academic Enrichment Vice-President. She is an undergraduate researcher at the Fritz Lab at UMD, YogiTerps executive leader, and passionate America Reads mentor. She has enjoyed internships at Saint Agnes Pediatric ER and Law Offices of Alex Poberesky. In her free time, she enjoys running, yoga, playing ukulele and piano, hiking, and hanging out with friends.

Miranda Morris

Miranda is a junior dual degree in History and Communication with a minor in Spanish Literatures, Linguistics and Cultures. This year she is the VP of Communications, having served on the committee for the past two semesters. She also works as a tutor at the UMD Writing Center. Miranda is a graduate of the College Park Scholars Arts Program as well as the Undergraduate Technology Apprentice Program. In her spare time, she likes to catch up on her favorite shows and novels, hang out with friends, and see discounted theatre in DC.

Leah Weinstesin

Leah is a junior Biological Sciences major with a minor in Spanish. This is her first year as VP of Event Planning and she is very excited to meet new members this semester. She is a graduate of the Global Public Health Scholars program and hope to work in the medical field in the future. In her spare time she enjoys attending exercise classes and playing with her two dogs.

Charmaine Yuan

Charmaine is a junior General Biology and Psychology double major on the pre-med track hoping to become a pediatrician. She is currently involved with the American Medical Students Association and ArtReach. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, baking, and spending time with friends and family.

Kevin Daeninck

Kevin is a senior Finance major and Real Estate Development minor. He was the Webmaster for ALD & PES last year, and looks forward to serving as your Webmaster again this year. He works part time at a real estate appraisal/consulting firm in Columbia, MD. In his free time, he enjoys working out, listening to music and outdoor sports.
